DORA
Direct Observation and Realtime Alerting
DORA expands the capabilities of the InformaCast and ControlKom paging applications by allowing them to integrate with contact closure devices. InformaCast and ControlKom allow you to send audio and textual broadcasts to a combination of IP phones, PCdesktops, and IP speakers. When combined with DORA, InformaCast and ControlKom can interact with contact closure devices and trigger a message, or vice versa. DORA supports Perle Systems' Ethernet I/O Device Servers, which sense and activate contact closures. With the breadth of available devices, the customization possibilities are endless.
DORA is ideal for:
- Sending a broadcast to a specified paging group as well as an email alert when a motion detector is triggered
- Activating a broadcast over speakers and/or phones when the night doorbell is pushed
- If an unauthorized door is opened, sending an audio alert broadcast to the area of the door as well as a notification email to the security team
