Former Berbee, CDW Execs Found Singlewire Software
Four former executives from Berbee Information Networks and CDW have joined together to start a new company, Singlewire Software.
Singlewire, based in Madison, Wis., will be led by Paul Shain, former CEO of Berbee and senior vice president at CDW, as president and CEO. The company will focus on building applications for the unified communications and physical security spaces. Continue reading
Former Berbee executives buy back part of company, form Singlewire Software
Four former executives of Berbee Information Networks have bought back part of the Fitchburg company from CDW and formed their own business, Singlewire Software, also based in Fitchburg.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it took effect Wednesday. The new owners were described as a “small group of private investors.”

New Company Formed to Focus on Mass Notification and Physical Security Systems
Singlewire Software, LLC, (www.singlewire.com) today announced its formation as a company to focus on building applications for the Unified Communications and physical security spaces. Singlewire Software has acquired the assets of Berbee Software, including the InformaCast® family of IP notification applications, from CDW Corporation.
