Singlewire InformaCast has been featured in documentation for the Cisco Notifi-Ed program on Safety and Security for Education Application Deployment Guide. This document represents best practices in designing and deploying an IP based security solution for K-12 and Higher Education environments. This guide includes information on how to deploy InformaCast for IP overhead paging, emergency notification, zoned paging, bell scheduling and more.

Singlewire at Events in October & November

Singlewire Software will be attending a number of events around the country over the next few weeks. We’ll be in Atlanta and Seattle attending the local CIPTUG chapter meetings. Look for our booth.
We’ll also be in Michigan attending two events. We’ll be at the Michigan Association of Education Data Conference, October 14 – 16, and the Michigan Association of School Boards October 22 and 23.

Singlewire featured in Cisco’s Developers Program Press Release

New Developer Partners Introduce building automation, collaboration, and management applications for Cisco, enabling the network as the platform.
Cisco announced today that Singlewire Software will be part of their expanded Developers Program for network-based applications. The announcement comes as result of Singlewire’s efforts in developing building automation and management features as a part of the InformaCast software solution.
“Access to the SDK program from Cisco’s Developer Network has enabled Singlewire to quickly and successfully implement our IP paging, emergency notification and physical security solution onto the newest generation of Cisco AXP ISR’s,” stated Ken Bywaters, Executive Vice President of Product Management – Singlewire Software. “This has given customers an important new option in deploying unified communications and our InformaCast solution directly within a remote satellite office by simply sliding an InformaCast AXP blade into an ISR router.”
