NEWS: Singlewire Software Adds COVID-19 Message Templates to InformaCast Fusion

COVID-19 Message Templates

To help organizations manage the ongoing health crisis, Singlewire Software has added COVID-19 message templates to its award-winning InformaCast Fusion software. The message templates can be customized based on an organization’s needs and address employee health, closings, reopenings, and social distancing best practices. Messages can be used to reach remote workers, administrators, or other relevant groups within an organization who need to stay informed.

“Singlewire Software recognizes the need for organizations to minimize disruptions during this pandemic,” said Pat Scheckel, vice president of product management at Singlewire Software. “With these customizable message templates, organizations will be able to clearly communicate updates and other valuable information that keeps their people safe and operations running smoothly.”

Reaching Mobile and On-Premises Devices

Organizations are using InformaCast Fusion during the COVID-19 outbreak to reach people remotely via SMS text messages, push notifications, emails, and desktop notifications. By leveraging multiple channels to share information, people see and respond to messages more quickly. InformaCast Fusion can also be used to help organizations resume normal operations, and protect against other disruptive threats like active shooter, severe weather, and chemical spills. With the ability to reach on-premises and mobile devices with mass notifications, InformaCast provides a complete solution for safety and alerting.

COVID-19 message templates are available to all current InformaCast customers. The templates are available to download as a .zip file on the Singlewire Support Community. Using the bulk import tool, the templates can then be added to the customer’s Fusion provider.

Additional COVID-19 Resources

Throughout the course of this crisis, Singlewire Software has provided tips and resources organizations can utilize to help manage their efforts. From outlining the most useful mass notification features to use during this time to sharing links to health resources that can be included in mass notifications, Singlewire is offering the tools organizations need to protect their people and ongoing operations.

While facilities are empty due to the coronavirus, organizations can use mass notification to send alerts if buildings are threatened or damaged and can work on completing in-building mass notification enhancements for when people return. Mass notification can also be used to communicate reopening information to help get operations back up and running quickly. For emergencies happening now and for those that could happen in the future, utilize InformaCast mass notification to keep your people safe and informed, everywhere, every time.
