Providing Peace of Mind

Singlewire Software, a leading emergency mass notification service provider, has furthered its security and privacy program to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). GDPR aligns data privacy laws across Europe, to protect and empower EU citizen data privacy and to reshape the way organizations across the region approach data privacy. Complying with GDPR allows Singlewire to continue expanding its efforts to enhance communication and safety for organizations worldwide. Singlewire’s E.U.-U.S. Privacy Shield and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield certifications provide legally recognized means to transfer data across European borders. Singlewire has certified compliance with the Privacy Shield principles.

“We understand that privacy and data protection is a top of mind concern, and the Privacy Shield certification continues our commitment to securely process our customers’ data,” said Brett Rimkus, Chief Financial Officer for Singlewire Software. “Complying with GDPR gives our European Union customers the peace of mind knowing they have control over how their data is handled.”

Putting Safety First

Data processing performed by Singlewire’s InformaCast is done at the initiative of our customers when they are utilizing the service. Customers control their data in InformaCast, along with how and when it is processed. Customers may delete or modify their data at any time and Singlewire does not access customer data other than as requested by a customer

“Safety is important wherever you are in the world,” said Tim Green, vice president of software development for Singlewire Software. “We want organizations around the world that put their people’s safety first to have confidence that when they work with us, they’re dealing with a company that respects how they want their data protected.”

Singlewire has updated the Privacy Policy, published on our website, to comply with GDPR requirements and better explain to customers, individuals, and website users how personal data is handled.
