Madison, Wis. – Apr. 27, 2022 – Singlewire Software has won a 2022 Govies Award from Security Today Magazine in the Emergency Communication Systems category for its InformaCast with Incident Management solution. An independent panel of judges from the security industry selected the InformaCast based on a variety of criteria, including features, innovation, user-friendliness, interoperability, quality, design, market opportunity, technical advances, scalability, and overall impact on the security industry.

Organizations, especially government entities are looking for security solutions that offer more ways to keep their people safe,” said Paul Shain, president and CEO of Singlewire Software. “This award highlights how InformaCast with Incident Management does more than just send out messages at the onset of an emergency. It offers a means to handle every aspect of a crisis from start to finish.”

InformaCast with Incident Management allows users to group certain notifications under a particular event. This can include the initial alert, follow-up messages, and “All Clear” messages to signal the event has been resolved. These alerts can be sent to all an organization’s devices as text and audio to ensure maximum reach. Users are also able to upload relevant resources into the incident hub to help give safety team members all the information and assistance they require to easily manage the situation. This can include safety checklists, building floor plans, and links to external resources like security camera feeds. This reduces the need to navigate long lists or complex menus and helps walk users through every step of their organization’s incident response plan. When the incident is over, a report is created that allows users to review how the event was managed and inform future adjustments to ensure the most effective response possible.

“The pandemic has wreaked havoc worldwide, but security manufacturers continued to work hard designing new security solutions for the government sector,” said Ralph C. Jensen, editor-in-chief for Security Today magazine and securitytoday.com. “This is truly a testament of dedication and vision to ensure the best products are available for government use. Manufacturers should be proud of their employees for providing the best solutions in these challenging times. We appreciate the opportunity to enhance the marketplace by honoring these award winners.”
