Each month, we feature one of our stellar team members on our blog. Learn more about them and what they do at Singlewire.

How long have you been at Singlewire and what’s your position?

This August will be my three-year anniversary. I recently started a new position as an Account Manager, and I cover the south and west regions.

Please describe what you do at Singlewire.

I introduce current customers to our newest platform InformaCast Fusion. This involves doing product demonstrations, taking calls, and providing stellar customer service.

What do you like best about working at Singlewire?

The best part about working at Singlewire is the work environment. Singlewire attracts a certain type of employee: people who are fun, energetic, and hardworking. That’s because the environment Singlewire provides is one of energy and fun. We’re always doing events like lunch and learns, happy hours, and great parties throughout the year. Singlewire fosters an attitude of work hard, play hard, and it shows.

What’s been your favorite project you’ve worked on here?

Before I was an Account Manager, I was an Inside Sales Rep (ISR), and we had a few projects here and there. One Saturday morning, the ISR team got together to edit our sales guidelines. I was largely there for my upbeat attitude and relatively fast typing speed. It was a fun time working with a team I had gotten close with at Singlewire. Being able to brainstorm ways to make our processes more efficient and accurate made me feel part of a team whose goal is to make Singlewire better. And after we got lunch together.

What have you gained from working at Singlewire?

Working at Singlewire has taught me that you can be hardworking, and you can have fun doing it. I’ve also refined my time management skills, become more detail-oriented, and have sharpened my sales skills.

If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to witness?

I’d go to the time and place where producers pitched an idea for a movie called Catwoman, and the studio executives said, “We’re in, here’s money.” Incredible.

What TV show or movie are you most ashamed to admit you love?

The Parent Trap (1998) – Yes, the one with Lindsey Lohan. It’s one of those things where I shout “no shame” even though I’m obviously ashamed. But it’s a masterpiece, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Do you have any special talents?

I can type fast. I don’t think it’s very special, but the amount of attention it got from my coworkers eventually culminated into an idea for a t-shirt design that would brag about such talent.

One horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?

A giant duck is everyone’s worst nightmare. Give me 100 small horses please and I’ll name them all Lil Sebastian.

Where’s your hometown?

Rosendale, Wis. Come for the gas station, stay because you got pulled over by a cop for going one mile per hour over the speed limit.
