Desktop Notification System
With the Desktop Notification System, Windows 2000 and higher, Linux, and Mac desktops can receive and source InformaCast and ControlKom text and audio broadcasts.
When paired with InformaCast or ControlKom, the Desktop Notification System allows you to create recipient groups using subnet or regular expressions and schedule messages to run at a preset time or on a recurring basis. It also allows you to configure the duration of the message, and/or choose to play it once or twice.
The Desktop Notification System is ideal for organizations where not everyone has regular access to an IP phone, allowing broadcasts to be sent to both phones and/or computer desktops.
