Madison, Wis – Dec. 18, 2013 – Singlewire Software, developer of innovative solutions centered around fast and reliable emergency notification, today announced the release of InformaCast Mobile, a cloud-based broadcast service that allows people to send and receive text, audio, image, and other forms of notification via mobile devices running iOS or Android.

Organizations can send emergency notifications, receive message confirmations, set up user roles and permissions, and manage the service via a secure Web portal.

Individual users can download and install the InformaCast Mobile client app on their iOS or Android device, associate themselves with their organization, and send and receive notifications based on their assigned user roles.

People who use InformaCast Mobile in conjunction with InformaCast Advanced have the ability to send messages via a mobile device. These messages can reach people who are on-premises (via Cisco IP phones, overhead paging systems, digital displays, computer desktops, and more), as well as people who are traveling, off-campus, or away from their desks.

“InformaCast Mobile and InformaCast Advanced give organizations the ability to quickly reach their people wherever they are — on-premises or remote — with one unified system,” stated Ken Bywaters, executive vice president for product development at Singlewire Software. “With this new product, Singlewire is poised to lead the industry in unified notification for both on-premises and off-premises needs.”

InformaCast Mobile is sold as a subscription service and is available through registered Singlewire partners or directly from Singlewire. The InformaCast Mobile client app is available for download from the App Store or Google Play.

Singlewire’s InformaCast software helps organizations create a streamlined system for mass notification, emergency communication, and IP phone paging. It allows users to simultaneously send an audio and/or text message to a variety of endpoints, such as Cisco IP phones, IP speakers, overhead paging systems, computer desktops, digital signage, SMS text, social media sites, iOS/Android devices, and more. It can be purchased through registered Singlewire partners or directly from Singlewire.
