Singlewire Software Partners with Patriot One Technologies for Threat Detection

Detect Threats, Protect Your People

Singlewire Software welcomes Patriot One Technologies Inc. as its newest ecosystem partner. Patriot One is the developer of PATSCAN™ next-generation software and sensor solutions for the covert detection of threats. Currently, the PATSCAN suite of three threat detection products can now be integrated with Singlewire Software’s InformaCast emergency notification software to send mass communications throughout an organization when potential threats are identified.

“There are a growing number of threats that organizations need to be prepared for, and we’re always looking for tools that make that preparation easier for our customers,” said Pat Scheckel, executive vice president of product management at Singlewire Software. “Our new integration with PATSCAN™ helps expand the safety capabilities offered by InformaCast for a more well-rounded solution.”

Innovative and Effective Solutions

The three PATSCANTM solutions offer an effective recognition method for threat detection of weapons, explosives, chemical threats, public disturbances, and suspicious behavior by utilizing sensors or video surveillance for near real-time security response notification. By interfacing these PATSCANTM solutions with Singlewire, an InformaCast broadcast can be triggered when a threat alert is generated by the PATSCANTM suite of products.

“We’re always striving to deliver innovative and effective solutions to help organizations combat active shooter threats before they occur,” said Martin Cronin, CEO and president for Patriot One Technologies. “Now, with Singlewire and InformaCast, we can detect and spread information to people through a variety of devices to help keep them out of harm’s way.”

Partnering with Cisco

This integration is made possible with help from Cisco and its Innovation Centre in Toronto. Patriot One approached Cisco who recommended Singlewire as an ecosystem partner and helped developed the integration pathway between Patriot One and InformaCast.

End-users will be able to leverage the detection capabilities of the PATSCAN suite of threat detection solutions with the on-premises notification capabilities of InformaCast. Once a threat is detected, organizations will be able to reach Cisco IP phones, IP speakers, desktop computers, digital signage and more with emergency alerts featuring audio and text. Additional information about this integration can be found on our Ecosystem Partner page and the Singlewire Support Community.
