A zone controller connects an older paging system to your network, so the speakers you already have can play audio from newer systems. Each zone, such as a wing, floor, or area, can receive its own audio. On its own, though, a zone controller simply passes along the audio it receives. It can’t create a message or decide when and where one should go. InformaCast from Singlewire Software tells your paging system what to play, when, and in which zones.

InformaCast sends alerts to just the zones that need them

Whether an alert starts from an InformaCast Wearable Alert Badge, a panic button, a sensor, or Visitor Aware, InformaCast sends it over the speakers in the exact zones that need it, while the rest of the building carries on.

At the same moment, InformaCast sends it to phones, computers, digital signs, strobes, and other devices. People can hear and see what’s happening and know how to respond.

There’s no need to replace speakers that still work well. When the situation is over, the all-clear plays in every zone that heard the first alert, so people know it’s safe to carry on.
