Solution
ScreenBeam integrates with Singlewire’s Informacast to deliver instant emergency alerts and critical communications directly to displays in classrooms and shared spaces. When an alert is triggered in Informacast, ScreenBeam devices automatically broadcast the message on connected screens, ensuring staff and students receive information fast, without needing to log into a device or launch software. This keeps displays active for teaching and safety at the same time.
Benefits
This integration expands InformaCast’s ability to deliver intrusive alerts to large-format displays. This helps ensure fast delivery of emergency alerts to every classroom screen with bold visual notifications that capture people’s attention. It works with existing ScreenBeam deployments, without the need for extra hardware. Schools can strengthen this safety communication across campus with immediate notifications that help staff react quickly and confidently when issues arise. ScreenBeam also leverages the “I Love U Guys” Foundation Standard Response protocol already supported by InformaCast.
Use Cases
ScreenBeam and Singlewire Software serve K-12 schools, higher education, and the corporate and public sectors with solutions that help enhance safety and communication. ScreenBeam and Singlewire’s InformaCast can be used to address a variety of issues, including:
- Lockdowns, evacuations, and weather alerts in K-12 schools
- Notifications delivered to lecture halls, labs, libraries, and student spaces across higher education campuses
- Security alerts or facility announcements in lobbies, conference rooms, and training spaces in corporate and public sectors.
