Wallboard – Enterprise digital signage that puts critical messages on every screen.

Digital SignageIntegrations

Solutions

Wallboard is a no-code enterprise digital signage platform that displays InformaCast alerts on your existing screens. CAP support is built in and configured directly in the Wallboard CMS, with no custom development. When InformaCast issues an alert, Wallboard receives it in real time and switches the right screens into emergency mode. Tag-based matching routes each alert to specific buildings, floors, or zones. Emergency content overrides all scheduled programming and shows the live message, severity, and instructions. When the alert clears, screens return to normal on their own.

Benefits

Adding InformaCast alerts to digital signage means critical messages reach a channel people can’t miss, even where audio falls short, such as loud floors and quiet zones. Visual alerts also reach anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing. Alerts override whatever is on screen, route to the right locations automatically, and clear themselves when the emergency ends. The same screens that run daily communications serve as the emergency channel, with no dedicated alerting hardware required.

Use Cases

Wallboard and Singlewire Software help organizations across education, healthcare, manufacturing, and government strengthen their safety and communication strategies. Together, they provide alerts for:

  • Lockdowns and violent intruder events
  • Severe weather
  • Evacuations and shelter-in-place
  • Daily announcements alongside emergency alerting

Configuration/Integration

Integrate via InformaCast Reach Outbound CAP feature; see https://docs.wallboard.us/docs/system-admin/datasources-menu/external-datasources/cap-datasource
