What is UCaaS?

According to an explainer on TechTarget, “Unified communications as a service (UCaaS) is a cloud delivery model that offers a variety of communication and collaboration applications and services.”

The article continues, “UCaaS features include enterprise messaging, presence technology, online meetings, team collaboration, telephony and video conferencing.”

As technology initiatives continue to expand this is becoming a service more and more organizations need due to the scalability and flexibility UCaaS offers compared to traditional on-premises unified communications (UC).
