Lightspeed Cascadia is a networked instructional audio platform that integrates with Singlewire’s InformaCast software to enable real-time alerting directly from the Lightspeed Clearmike, including both Help Requests and Emergency Alerts.
Key capabilities of this integration include:
- Alerts are activated from predefined InformaCast scenarios configured in the InformaCast console.
- Scenarios can be initiated as either a Help Request or an Emergency Alert from the Lightspeed Clearmike.
- When an alert is activated, the sender’s location is automatically mapped to the corresponding location in InformaCast.
- Alerts can be initiated from inside or outside the classroom.
- Any alert type can be paired with a SIP call, leveraging the school’s existing SIP telephony infrastructure.
This solution is enabled by the InformaCast API.
