Wearable Panic Buttons

Wearable panic buttons put help within reach. Staff can ask for help discreetly, wherever they are, without reaching for a phone. What they can’t do on their own is reach everyone who needs to know. InformaCast from Singlewire Software turns that call for help into a full response.

Help that knows where to go
When your wearable panic buttons are connected to InformaCast, a call for help starts an alert. Depending on your system, the alert can share who needs help and where. The people responding get it right away on their phones, computers, and other devices.

If the situation calls for more, the response can grow from there. Depending on your setup, InformaCast can quietly notify local dispatchers, and for a larger emergency, it can alert the whole building through overhead speakers, digital signs, and strobes.

The InformaCast Wearable Alert Badge
With Singlewire’s own InformaCast Wearable Alert Badge, for example, responders see the wearer’s floor and room on a map. If the wearer moves, the map updates, so responders can go straight to them.

Responders can coordinate on a conference call along the way, and when it’s over, InformaCast sends an all-clear so everyone knows the situation is resolved.

Working together every day
Your wearable panic buttons and InformaCast work together on ordinary days, too. With the InformaCast Wearable Alert Badge, separate press options set an everyday request for a quick hand apart from a larger emergency. Because staff use the badge for small things, pressing it feels natural when it matters most.

Wearable panic buttons let staff ask for help without stopping what they’re doing. Connected to InformaCast, a call for help can bring the right response, from a nearby helper to the whole building.
